Gather Farmstall was built in 2024 using natural construction methods. Clay, stone and grass was harvested from the farm and used as building materials. This method has a much lower carbon footprint than traditional construction. Although it is more labour intensive, the cost savings on material made the building economical, while creating job opportunities in the Humansdorp area.

This mindset guides us in all we do - we are trying to build a farm model that is environmentally sustainable, nourishing, economically viable and, most importantly, has a social impact on the community around us.
